On a beautiful Saturday, the Wolfe Pack joined the Urban Oyster's Fermented NY Craft Beer Crawl through Williamsburg, Brooklyn. In addition to multiple delectable samples in three different pubs, the tour included food (to help absorb the alcohol and keep us trekking), we heard the stories behind the frothy businesses we visited, learned about how the beer is made, what goes into serving it, how to distinguish between different varieties of beer, and how to fully appreciate beer the way professional tasters do.

With over 1,700 breweries operating nationwide, choosing and appreciating beer has become a bit of an art form. Urban Oyster Tours will guide us through the world of craft beer as we visit several craft beer bars, a beer store, sample their wares, and hear about the stories behind their frothy businesses. We'll learn about how the beer is made, what goes into serving it, how to distinguish between different varieties of beer, and how to fully appreciate beer the way professional tasters do. This is a pub crawl with a purpose. After taking this tour, you'll be able to dazzle your friends with your new expertise and liberate them from the grips of Bud Light and Stella. |
